Puerto Rico’s Primary/Caucus
Puerto Rico’s primary is scheduled for June 1st. Some think P.R.’s primary will weigh in big in the end results for the Democratic nomination as there are 4 million voters and 63 delegates at stake. Others say P.R.’s primary doesn’t mean anything since they are not allowed to participate in presidential or congressional elections. Either way the next few years will be important in Puerto Rican History as their status as “more than a colony, but less than a state” will be a hot topic to debate for all Boricuas worldwide.
