The Pros and Cons of Cellphone Use
“If your cell phone doesn’t kill you, it may save your life” to quote an article out of the Chicago Tribune that talks about the benefits and risks posed by cellphone usage. The USVI has approximately 64,000 cell phone users (scroll down to #181 Virgin Islands and don’t fret when you click on the link & it takes you to the BVI page cause the BVI is #210 and only has ~25,000 people so unless everyone has 3 phones it’s gotta be the USVI). What’s interesting is that a prominent cancer Doctor has just issued a statement that warns about cellphones use. So since we are the experiment it’s good to always have a balanced perspective on the issues and as always the great debate of the pros and cons of modern technology continues.
