Some of our members in STT have asked why we only featured St. Croix Events in our last post. The reason is simple, so far only St. Croix has emailed us their events. So St. Thomas, definitely email us your events at events@mymelee.com and we’ll post them!

After much discussion, the senate agreed to the Captain Morgan deal in a 10-5 vote. The St. Croix Source reports:

This Diageo deal seems to be a complex issue with the senate requiring another session to deliberate it. VI’ers opinions vary as some support the deal fully while others oppose it saying it’s too one sided. There are even people from Puerto Rico protesting the move as it will down-grade PR’s rum industry.
